The Freemasons Tavern is a modern hotel located in the main street of Beverley. It offers the perfect mix of charm and city style. Affectionately known as the ‘Bottom Pub’ it underwent some serious renovation in 2018 to emerge as a pub designed for modern consumers looking for a comfortable place to stay, socialise, eat and drink.
The new owners, Graham Stanley, Kerry Toop and John Stanley and their fantastic staff are happy to assist with any inquiry.
The Freemasons Tavern offers accommodation, meals, catered functions, access to a large private dining room, furnished with superb antiques and stunning leadlight windows.
Children are not forgotten. There is a large playground area with a cubby house, monkey bars and swings located in close proximity to the huge alfresco area.

THE HISTORY
FREEMASONS TAVERN BEVERLEY
The history of the Freemasons Hotel dates back to the year 1886, when the first building was erected by Mr. H. H. Sewell. As the picture shows, it was a typical country hostelry – small bar accommodation and rambling apartments”….1908 saw the development of the site and a new building was erected.
The Freemasons was known as one of the best hotels in the Great Southern. Good location, airy rooms, roomy hall, wide passages, lounge, commercial and billiard rooms and convenient dining room – all well lighted.
